The “Once Upon a Time” project created by Supperstudio designers and collaborators such as Avery Dennison, Kurz, Etinsa, Etiquel, Egisa, Amorim Top Series, Favini and Estal is a ground-breaking source of inspiration for Beauty industry brands. Their concepts are based on classic fairy tales and they convey a nostalgic message for all of us who grew up listening to these traditional stories.

In this collection, the values and emotions linked to these stories are expressed through striking packaging design. By embracing eco-design, the idea lies in planting the seed with the consumer, a seed of critical thinking and analysis of the environment and society.

 

 

From their 10 designs, the following eight have taken the form of an Estal bottle, jar or candle holder: I’m Pretty, with a 30ml DA Allure Dropper, Love Always Wins, with a 500ml Pharma bottle, Mirror Mirror, with a 100ml DA Tramo bottle, Twelve o’clock, with a DA Attico bottle, Antiageism, with a 100ml Magister bottle, Honeysty, a 300ml Da Upper candle holder, Huff and Puff, with the Bubbles bottle collection from Estal and Peter Punk, with the 50ml EasyJar Wave jar.

 

 

The prestigious magazine Formes de Luxe recently published an article about the complete collection, entitled: “Once Upon a Time: When packaging tells a story”

 

Estal at the 2023 edition of the Pentawards

The “Once Upon a Time” collection has been nominated for the 2023 Shortlist for the Pentawards. These awards received over 2,000 entries, from 60 different countries. This year the international jury has selected 700 projects to be part of the shortlist for the awards.

The winners will be honoured at the Gala Ceremony in London on the 10th of November following the Pentawards Festival.

In the BODY, HEALTH & BEAUTY category, the following are nominated:

  • Huff and Puff – in Estal Bubbles bottles, in the  Perfumes and fragrances subcategory titled.
  • Mirror Mirror – in an Estal 100ml Doble Alto Tramo bottle, also in the Perfumes and fragrances  subcategory.

and

  • Twelve o’clock – with Estal’s Doble Alto Attico bottle, in the Luxury body and skin care subcategory.
